Corris Mine Explorers is one of the best things to do Mid Wales and perfect for School Trips and Group Visits.  Our Wales cave adventure lasts for 1 1/2 hours with a minimum age of 8. Corris Mine Explorers can be explored in a maximum group size of 40 people (with group discounts available).  This trip allows you to follow in the footsteps of Victorian Slate Miners with a hard hat and hand torch. All groups are very welcome including organised groups.

2026 Prices for Schools Trips and Educational Visits

For all Educational visits booked for Schools / Scout groups, for every 8 children booked, 1 adult explorers for free.

Children: (ages 8-15) £13.50 Adults: £18.50

For groups wanting further information, including for school history trips, a guided tour of the village of Corris and a visit to the Corris Railway Museum would provide further insight into how life was during Victorian times.

The Corris Café serves a tasty selection of hot and cold food and drinks throughout the day. Orders for packed lunches to take-away can be pre-ordered and prepared for your group.

Please note that larger Schools and Groups can be accommodated by splitting the group. Whilst some enjoy Corris Mine Explorers, other members of the group can enjoy King Arthur’s Labyrinth, The Welsh Legends Maze and the Corris Craft Centre or explore the village of Corris and the Corris Railway Museum.
