If you are looking for something to do whilst in Mid Wales, including things to do on a wet day, the Corris Craft Centre and its many attractions, offers something for everyone.

The Corris Craft Centre is a great place for any members of your group not going on the Corris Mine Exploration. See the resident designer-makers creating a range of items for the home and garden and some unique gift ideas too. Many of the craft studios now offer craft making activities, drop in to paint pottery, to dip candles and to make and decorate a bar of chocolate. Workshops can also be booked, in advance, to build a piece of rustic furniture.

The craft studios open daily from Easter to November and many open during the winter months, it's always worth phoning ahead of making a special journey.
King Arthur's Labyrinth, a unique underground adventure for the whole familyKing Arthur's Labyrinth, a unique underground adventure for the whole family [+]

Corris Craft Centre is also the starting point for the King Arthur's Labyrinth underground adventure which is awash with ancient Welsh legends and a perfect visit for the Welsh Year of Legends 2017. King Arthur's Labyrinth, like Corris Mine Explorers, is based in a part of the old Braich Goch slate mine. The huge caverns of the old slate mine form a theatrical backdrop for an underground storytelling adventure and the Corris Mine Exploration allows you to look down on the Labyrinth adventure, just like a behind the scenes tour. This provides great excitement when other members of your group are doing the Labyrinth adventure and you can try to spot them from above!  King Arthur's Labyrinth is now closed for the winter and reopens on 24th March 2018.

In a further attraction, Lost Legends of The Stone Circle you'll find mythical stories, intriguing characters and The Stone Circle as you navigate the snaking paths of a maze. Hunt for clues around the maze and you could win yourself a gold medal!  Lost Legends of The Stone Circle is now closed for the winter and reopens on 24th March 2018.

Our Welsh food and drink shop, The Larder, is linked by an archway from Y Crochan cafe. The Larder stocks a delicious selection of Welsh food and drink much of which has been grown, reared or produced just a few miles from Corris. Items stocked include a range of Welsh cheeses, preserves, honey, biscuits, 34 different bottled beers, 11 bottled ciders, whiskey, liqueurs, milk, pates, jam, pickles, cakes, apple juice, sauces, dressings and much more. Welsh food and drink Gift Hampers are now available or you can make your own bespoke hampers and choose from our growing selection of Welsh produce.
