If you are looking for something to do whilst in Mid Wales, including things to do on a wet day, the Corris Craft Centre and its many attractions, offers something for everyone.

The Corris Craft Centre is a great place for any members of your group not going on the Corris Mine Exploration. See the craftspeople making a creative range of items for the home and garden and some unique gift ideas.

King Arthur's Labyrinth, a unique underground adventure for the whole family [+]

Corris Craft Centre is also the starting point for the King Arthur's Labyrinth underground adventure. King Arthur's Labyrinth, like Corris Mine Explorers, is based in a part of the old Braich Goch slate mine. The huge caverns of the old slate mine form a theatrical backdrop for an underground storytelling adventure and the Corris Mine Exploration allows you to look down on the Labyrinth adventure, just like a behind the scenes tour. This provides great excitement when other members of your group are doing the Labyrinth adventure and you can try to spot them from above!

A further attraction, Bards' Quest is also based at the Corris Craft Centre. Search for myths and legends which have been lost and forgotten along the paths of time. Once found, stop and be enthralled by some great stories from Wales. Please note that King Arthur's Labyrinth and Bards' Quest are now closed for the winter months; both attractions reopen on Saturday 31st March 2012. During the winter months, many of the Craftspeople take a break so it's always worth phoning ahead of making a special journey.
